Carl Herber

Carl grew up in Baltimore County and has spent the last 10 years living in Baltimore City. His time away from Maryland was spent in college at Bucknell University getting his BSBA degree in Accounting and then in Manhattan working for a Big 5 accounting firm as a Senior Accountant. Using the practical knowledge of business accounting, Carl came back to Baltimore and embarked on various entrepenenurial ventures ranging in scope from Marketing to Real Estate Investment. His experience in Real Estate Investment projects with the co-founder of Masters Realty, Nic Lancelotta, lead to the genesis of Masters Realty - The Professional Alternative to Real Estate Brokerage.

After raising her family, Sue entered the real estate field in 1987.  As a New Home Selection Coordinator, she assisted homebuyers in working through the selection and home building process. An experienced salesperson in Residential Real Estate, Sue took a position with Preakness Homes, a small local new home builder, in 1989.

Working with home buyers in the sales, selection, settlement and service processes, Sue became an invaluable link between buyer and builder.  Though challenging, her diligent efforts resulted in Sue becoming sales and marketing manager for Preakness Homes in 1993. 

Due to her expertise in sales and marketing, a variety of thriving communities have been successfully completed in the local area.

  • The Estates and The Villages At Shannon Run – One hundred twenty single family homes priced from moderate to mid price. (1992 – 1996)
  • Oakdale – Twenty single family homes mid price range (1995 – 1996)
  • Hawk Ridge Farms – Thirty mid price single family homes (1996 -1998)
  • Crossroads Overlook – One hundred thirty single family priced in the moderate to mid price range (1997 – 2000)
  • Glenside Farms – Fifty single family homes priced in the upper mid price range (2000 -2002)
  • Woodsyde Estates – One hundred twenty-two single family homes priced in the upper price range (2001 – 2005)
  • The Residences at Homeland – Seventy age restricted condominiums priced in the mid price range (2004 – present)
  • Breckenridge Condominiums – Two Hundred Ninety-eight apartments converted to condominiums and sold (2005 – present)
  • The Residences at Chapel Falls – Managing the rental of nineteen condominium/apartments for Preakness Homes starting spring 2008
  • Fulton Ridge – Managing the sale of 14 Single Family estate lots in Howard County (present)

In 1997, Sue became a licensed Maryland Real Estate Broker and established Segue Realty, LLC.  As a broker she has completed many general brokerage transactions, in addition to her sales management and marketing duties in New Homes.  In 1998, she received the Certified New Homes Sales Professional designation.

Sue has consulted on numerous occasions with private clients and other Real Estate Professionals.  She has joined Masters as Associate Broker and is acting Office Manager at the Catonsville Office of Masters Realty, LLC.  Sue’s mission is to expand her General Brokerage business and to continue consulting on real estate sales and marketing matters for Masters Realty.

Kathy started her career in New Homes Sales, and ultimately served as Vice President and CFO of a local award-winning homebuilder.  In addition, she was the Sales Manager of the Resale Homes Division.
